8.11 but that was Saturday too.
Great place to eat. Not sure about what time they open n closes but probably could look it up on internet.
No its open
Over priced. Old and worn out building. The waitress was nice.
It's nothing fancy and the buffet had run low, but they brought out what you needed and the food wasn't bad for a small buffet. The staff were nice and efficient. We didn't order off menu so can't tell you about other food.
A very basic but clean and cozy place for breakfast. Your main breakfast items and better quality than the hotels. The food items are stocked all morning long even when the place was packed! The place seems like one of those first establishments in the entire city and the staff are very polite and attentative. Would go here again next time!
RYBIE SPECIAL was good.
We didn't realize it was near closing but they didn't even tell us and went ahead and sat us and took our order without a word. I felt bad after I realized they stayed for us. Super sweet staff!!! Thank you!!!
Service was good. We got our food in a timely manner. Definitely not the cleanest place. And quite frankly the food sucked. This was our first time eating here and our last. The sweet tea.... gross. Food..... gross. The only thing good about the food was our eggs but really, who can screw up scrambled eggs? 😂 t
Very good place to eat for breakfast 🙂 waitress super nice & friendly.
The food here is great and so are the people! I highly suggest trying out the breakfast buffet. I especially enjoyed the sausage and french toast.
This restaurant is great if you’re looking for overpriced hotel food. Upon arrival, we had to wait in the gift shop because it was over crowded and the waiting seats were taken up. Not to mention the temperature in the gift shop was through the charts. The customer service was okay but could have been better. The menu was also very limited.
Great Pancakes ...Would of given 5 Stars if all Menu Items where available.
Awesome food and super friendly people
Across the street from the casino, it appears to be a former International House of Pancakes restaurant which still specializes in pancakes. A little grungy but has an all you can eat buffet. The staff was very attentive. If you are in Cherokee and looking for breakfast food, this is the place.
Excellent breakfast buffet. The cost was around $10 per person when we went. The selection was pretty good. There are scrambled eggs, french toast, biscuits, gravy, sausage, bacon, pancakes, potatoes and other items on the buffet. You can also order from the menu. The prices are pretty reasonable.
To spend $45 for breakfast for myself, husband, 2 kids (12&1). The food was disappointing, gravy for the biscuits tasted like it was out of a packet, the pancakes were not at all good and looked like they were microwaved. I don’t know if it’s due to COVID-19 or maybe it’s better when they have the buffet available. We were very disappointed, since they seemed to be one of the top ten in Cherokee.
Overall pretty good, they close a little early and during off-peak they sometimes close earlier than their scheduled time which is alittle disappointing if you're visiting and wanted to go, but overall the food was really good and the service was great
Very good food! Breakfast if oancakes, eggs and bacon was delish. Server did a great job too!
It was busy but got waited on quickly and got our food in about 15 minutes. We got the 2 pancake breakfast with eggs and bacon. Very good. Ill eat there the next time i go back. Our server was very polite.thanks
Love this restaurant. Always go in when I am in town. Service is always fabulous. Food is wonderful. The prices are great. You never leave hungry.
The food was very good and the service was friendly and efficient. Prices are very reasonable. We ate at some of the 'best rated' restaurants in town but they didn't come close to our experiences at The Pancake House. We ate breakfast there 3 times. YUM
FYI...while waiting to go in this place the only place to sit is outside on broken rocking chairs. I asked the store clerk if she was aware they were broken and she said "Oh yeah!" Like she was proud of it. This makes them liable. So if anyone wants to get set for life come sit in a broken rocking chair and fall down. The know about them and they don't care.
Fair priced. Nothing fancy.
Anytime I'm visiting Cherokee, I always stop by Frontier Pancake House for breakfast. The service is excellent and the food is so scrumptious! Being that we're in the midst of a global pandemic, the food nor the service were compromised. The restaurant does require face masks upon entry and they're practicing social distancing.
Great breakfast bar.Home cooking at it's best.
Stopped in for breakfast and everything was great. They had a breakfast buffet with all the essentials available. 👍👍
Pancakes tasted like they had been cooked and warmed up in a microwave. Waitress seemed like she had better things to do.
Excellent food, excellent wait staff. Has breakfast buffet, always well stocked. I always order blueberry pancakes, delicious! We stop and eat here every time we visit the mountains. Excellent choice. Family run business.
Very small cute little places. You can tell it’s the been the same since the day it opened. Outdated but quaint. French toast was very good. Waitress was very nice and fast. She was very prompt
Buffet Breakfast for 9.99 with limited food items. Waitress was friendly. Do not order hot chocolate. It's directly across from casino so it keeps a crowd.
Best sweet tea and best biscuits and gravy ive ever had
It's good. Price is decent. The building is beautiful, very rustic.
It was ok. Prices reasonable. Food was good. Has a breakfast bar all you can eat for a really good price. Pancakes made any way you want them.
Good oldschool downhome country cookin'
We had the breakfast bar and it was pretty good. Lots of choices. Our waitress was very attentive
Lady nice food left something to be desired
For the location it was great to get a hot breakfast and I was visiting in non peak season, the was good standard breakfast that didn't offer much but nevertheless it was good food
Good selection of food for the money. We didn't have to wait too long and the food was constantly being replenished. Would have gotten 5 stars but I had some pancakes that weren't stellar like the other stuff. Biscuits were delicious.
Excellent service. Good price. Food was average. No flavor. Had the buffet. It had a lot of different items on it. I would recommend it.
Good food for a small restaurant. We had a large group so the cook wasn't happy when we came in. The people didn't seem pleased that we were there. Atmosphere was quaint
We loved it! Thought for a minute we were never gonna get any pancakes on the buffet because people kept eating them so fast, but man were they worth the wait! Fantastic breakfast and completely worth every bit!
Great family restaurant.. Enjoyed the food and service..
Good food Friendly staff
Good food. Good service. Good atmosphere
7/19/20- I rated this restaurant a 3 star only because the waitress was nice. If I had rated it by the food alone it most definitely would have been a 1 star. The food was nasty, meaning the pancakes was very dry and the bacon (3 very small pieces) was very hard considering that the bacon was priced as a side for 2.50. You would think that going by the name Frontier Pancake House, that it would be delicious. Absolutely not!!! MCD. Charlotte, NC
Fantastic! Rick & l Enjoyed the food and the family environment!!!
Service and breakfast food good..Very efficient server. Coffee hot and fresh..Parking lot tricky to get in and out.. Will try again!
We stopped here while waiting on family to meet up with us and ended up waiting 1 1/2 hours. After that I went in to ask how much longer because there were people who got there after us being seated and they told me there were 9 people in front of us which made no sense. When I told the lady, that we shouldn’t haven’t that many people in front of us that we’ve been here since 10:15, she asked me for a number which we were never given. My husband and I were with three very young children waiting this long was not okay. The lady finally seated us and they didn’t have juice options for kids and she was rude when My son asked for crayons. We ordered her food which was decent and it came in a timely manner. Our waitress did not check on us afterwards and when we tried to pay, she just handed us a check not telling us where to pay. We sat there for 10 minutes and then the very nice bus boy helped us. This was an experience and I would probably never go back!!!
Good fuel for a fun filled day in the mountains.
Great service and great food. It was the perfect place to grab brunch before heading over to Harrah's.
This place is awesome! They offer a breakfast buffet for $9.95 which includes pancakes, bacon, sausage, grits, biscuits, gravy, eggs, home fries, and french toast sticks. Every single thing I tasted from the buffet was hot and fresh! The potatoes were perfectly cooked and the pancakes were nice and fluffy! The staff was polite. The inside is on the smaller side but that didn't bother us because we went around brunch time. We will definitely be back again!
Being called a pancake house you wouldn't expect the worst pancakes you've ever eaten. Otherwise place was a fun stop and service was amazing!
